The family was raised and born in Pennsylvania Molly was a professional actor when she was thirteen years old at Philadelphia the Prince Music Theater in a production of The Snow Queen. She was then nominated as an Barrymore Award nominee for her part as Little Red Ridinghood at the Arden Theater's production of Into the Woods. After her Broadway debut, at the tender age of 15, she reprised this part and was awarded a Drama League Award. Molly appeared in Broadway in the 2004 production of Fiddler on the Roof. When she graduated of Princeton University, where she graduated with the degree of B.A. on Religion, and became a Triangle Club member, Molly went on to attend Princeton University. It was during this time when she made her feature film debut in Disney s College Road Trip as Wendy Greenhut. In college, Molly began her acting career with Disney College Road Trip playing Wendy Greenhut. Molly has appeared in several Off-Broadway productions, such as End Days, at Ensemble Studio Theater. She also appeared in television series like Royal Pains or an HBO Pilot The Wonderful Maladys. Molly was involved in the 2008 Barrington Stage Company production of The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee and in Westport Country Playhouse's 2010 staging of The Diary of Anne Frank which she performed as Anne.
